Ruth Myers

Forty years of nursing allowed little time to explore my interests in art; however, retirement has given me the opportunity I've needed to reach out and develop my love of art. I move between pastel, acrylic and oil paint, with subjects I find beautiful including horses, dogs, birds and landscapes. I enjoy working in my studio, and painting with others, in the classroom and plein air. I am grateful to those who take the time to teach others their craft, and fellow artists who share techniques. I feel privileged to have become acquainted with such a talented group of artists.
